An incredible opportunity to experience SANC raptors after dark. Pitch a tent, bring your sleeping bag, then head down to the lake searching for wild things! SANC’s owls and hawks will join us around the campfire as we share stories and smores. Then off to tents and listen to the hooting of owls till the sun wakes us. Have you ever wanted to stay late and hike around Audubon at twilight? Join us for a guided nature hike through the summer twilight with an Audubon Teacher. Meet at 6:30pm in the Exhibit Hall and we will hike for an hour, explore this enchanted time of evening together, looking and listening for whoooo else is out there.

Join your neighbors at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center for a block party to kick-off our new evening summer programs – Tuesday Tunes, Wednesday Avian Evenings, and Thursday trails.

There will be fun for the whole family with live music at the Pavilion, “behind-the-Scenes” guided forest restoration hikes, live animals, and our Birds of Prey. You will also get to meet the newest ANIMAL staff member here at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center.

5:15 – 5:45pm – Raptor Flight Demonstration at the Amphitheatre
6:00 – 7:30pm – Live Music at the Pavilion

You are welcome to bring a blanket, chair, and picnic or you may purchase dinner from The Fast Foodie mobile food truck. This event is FREE for members and non-members. No registration is required.
