Evergreen Society






Schlitz Audubon Nature Center has been fortunate over the years to be the recipient of a number of bequests or planned gifts. The Evergreen Society was created to recognize donors who include the Center in their wills or trusts, as well as encourage others to become a part of the Centers planned giving program.


Planned giving is a form of charitable gift intended to benefit both the donor and a designated charitable organization. Many of these charitable gifts can provide substantial tax and financial benefits to you. No matter what the size of the bequest, through the provision of a planned gift to the Friends of Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, a donor can help ensure that the important work of the Center will continue long into the future.


When a planned gift is received from your estate, the money is placed in an endowment. The annual interest income generated provides permanent funding for all education programs.


Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is fortunate to have supporters who have included us in their estate plans. Donors who have made a bequest or a planned gift to the Center are eligible to become members of the Evergreen Society.
